Precious Metals Exchange, Inc. or PMEX, Inc.("we," "us," "our") makes this Website www.AugustusGold.com, www.AugustusSilver.com, www.AugustusGold.net, www.AugustusSilver.net, www.AugustusPreciousMetals.com, www.AugustusPreciousMetals.net, and www.JeweleryBoxMining.com  (the "Site") available to consumers who are interested in obtaining information regarding obtaining cash for gold and/or silver jewelry, coins, and other items ("Consumers"), subject to this privacy policy (the "Policy") and the Site's terms and conditions as described on the FAQ page of the Site. This policy has been adopted to demonstrate our commitment to Consumers’ privacy and to disclose our fair use of information practices. This Policy explains what information we collect on the Site, how we use and/or share this information, and how such information is maintained. By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, in whole or part, you should not use this Site. Proprietary Personal Information
Collection of PPI

We collect proprietary personal information ("PPI") that Consumers volunteer in response to specific information requests for the purpose of conducting a business transaction and enabling two-way communication. In order to transact business with us, consumers are requested to provide the following PPI: first and last name, street address, e-mail address, and at least one telephone number. PayPal account username is optional for those preferring payments through that service, and comments and information regarding the advertising medium where the Site was found are completely optional.

Using and Sharing PPI

We reserve the right to use PPI: (1) for the specific purpose for which such information was provided to us by you, offering you the opportunity to sell your items to us,  (2) as disclosed at the time such information is provided; and/or (3) as disclosed in this Policy. Please note that we may change this Policy at any time (See "Changes to this Policy," below), and that therefore the future use PPI may include additional purposes not currently included in this Policy.

As provided in the FAQ section of the Site, users of the Site are required to provide their PPI to us so that we may use such information to enable us to provide you with information regarding the sale of your items.  If you do not provide the required PPI, as set forth in this Policy, you may inhibit our ability to facilitate your transaction and/or you may not receive the information you are seeking regarding us purchasing your items. If you are unwilling to provide this information, you should not attempt to use this Site.

We may disclose PPI in order to: (1) comply with applicable laws or when compelled by subpoenas or warrants; (2) respond to governmental inquiries; and (3) protect our rights or property, this Site, and/or other users of the Site.

By using this Site, Consumers acknowledge that the processing of their PPI for the purposes described above could involve the transfer of such PPI from within the European Economic Area ("EEA") to countries outside the EEA whose data protection regulations may not be as stringent as those within the European Union.

Communications From the Site

We will communicate with you via email or telephone to respond to an inquiry or if we have a question or problem with your request.  You may not opt-out of receiving these transactional emails.

Non-Proprietary Personal Information

We also collect information that is not proprietary that is not personally identifiable information through the standard operation of our servers through the use of log files. This information can include the non-personally identifiable information more fully described below.

IP Address

We collect your IP (Internet Protocol) address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer this Site. An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. Your IP address is also used to help identify you during a particular website session and to gather broad demographic and statistical data.

Agents and Service Provides

PMEX, Inc. may employ other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf and on behalf of our Site, such as (1) sending emails, (2) providing marketing materials via post or parcel, and (3) database management and analysis and (4) shipping services.  Such companies and individuals will have access to Member PPI only to the extent necessary to perform their services, and will not be permitted to use it for any other purpose including their own marketing.

Cookies and Tracking User Movements

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. 

We use session ID cookies.  We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as contests or surveys, will be limited. We do not use cookies for the purpose of tracking your movements on the Site at this time, however, this is likely to change in the near future.

By continuing to use the Site following any changes, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes whether you feel these changes have been communicated to your satisfaction or not. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, as it may be amended periodically, in whole or in part, you must terminate your site usage.
